Karan Johar talks about how he discovered Rani Mukherjee for the role of "Tina' in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The coincidence is, that it was Aditya Chopra who recommended in the first place that Karan should cast Rani for the role, and now many years later, Rani Mukherjee is married to Aditya Chopra. Karan Johar- I had no idea whom to cast the character 'Tina' because every heroin possible I can think of has rejected the role. Tina( Twinkle) Khanna is who I think of when I picturise the character, that is one reason I keep the name Tina. She is the first person to whom I narrated the story, but she gave a thought and said it was not the right role for her according to her career graph, then I offered it to Raveena, Aishwarya, Urmila, Tabu, I gave a detailed narration to all of them, they all lis
