A young Garhwali village boy collects Capsicum or Shimla mirch from the family's fields, along with his mother and village aunts, and his older sister, in the western Himalaya region of Ghorakhuri and Nainbagh along the Yamuna river. The Shimla mirchi will be sold in the vegetable markets of Dehradun and Mussoorie, mostly to be consumed by hotels for their tourist guests.
