Maintenance of a concrete fish pond used for aquaculture. After draining the water, two workers manually remove accumulated mud, organic waste, and silt from the pond channel using hand tools. One worker stands inside the drained channel while the other assists from above the concrete partition. Regular desilting helps improve water quality, reduces the buildup of organic matter, supports healthy oxygen levels, and prepares the pond for the next fish rearing cycle.
