Rainbow Trout fish fry transferred from transport tanks into a concrete pond | Pisciculture at the wildfilmsindia trout hatchery in the western Himalaya. A field team transfers freshwater fish fry in water from a small yellow canister into a specialized white fish-transport tank secured inside a utility vehicle. A fine-mesh screen is held over a bucket during the handling and transfer of water and aquatic specimens. The team wears heavy-duty raincoats while working in a remote, forested environment. After collection and transport, the young fish are transferred into small handmade concrete fish ponds. The activity shows field handling and relocation of young freshwater fish for pond stocking or related aquatic management.
