Incessant rains pummelled Nashik city and other parts of the district in Maharashtra for the third consecutive day on Tuesday, triggering floods in the Godavari river which has crossed the danger mark. Many rivers across the district are also in spate due to heavy rains. While one elderly woman was killed by a wall collapse in the district, a couple are feared to have been washed away in flash floods in Umrale village.
