A marching contingent of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) takes part in the 71st Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2020. CRPF personnel wear formal khaki ceremonial uniforms with distinctive light purple and blue ceremonial turbans featuring pleated crests as they march in synchronized formation. A ceremonial brass band also marches along Rajpath, now known as Kartavya Path, wearing formal uniforms with decorative gold and yellow elements on their turbans. The musicians play brass instruments including euphoniums, baritone horns and tubas while marching along the parade route. Spectator stands filled with people are visible in the background.
