These deities inside the Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas are taken out with an elaborate ritual on the day of the Rath Yatra. But what happens to the deities after the ceremony and procession is over? We filmed the temple priest and his associates cleaning the sanctum of the deities inside the Mandir. They vigorously clean the floors and the deities before signing up for the day. This has been caught on camera on the day of Rath Yatra during the Corona partial Lockdown in New Delhi. Coronavirus does not differentiate any location but these temple workers are not wearing proper masks.
