The annual Jagannath Rath Yatra is celebrated with pomp and fervour at the Shri Jagannath Temple, Hauz Khas. The Rath Yatra is attented by thousands of devotees every year which is marked by pulling chariots and a procession. But this year's Rath Yatra marred issues concerning the Covid Pnademic transmission. Filmed here at the Sree Neelachala Seva Sangha Jagannath Temple in New Delhi, less number of devotees are seen during the Rath Yatra celebration. Devotees and temple leaders and workers arrive wearing masks amid media coverage. However, social distancing is definitely not followed as devotees offer and crowd around the idols of the deities inside the temple.
