3rd India Power Forum organised by Assocham and American chamber of commerce in New Delhi. Indian government will present the new power supply bill during the next winter session of Parliament. Cabinet ministers have agreed to the new bill which will be tabled in the winter session of Parliament. The new bill includes old laws of electricity along with some new amendments. "We have tried to merge the 1910's law of electricity along with 1948's power supply act." 3rd India Power Forum organized by Assocham and American chamber of commerce in New Delhi. According to the organizers, India is committed to provide 1 Lakh megawatt power till 2012.
