Lots of stashed cash has been seized in Andhra Pradesh by the police. This money was to be used for election mal-pratices, for bribing voters and buying them alcohol and more... The Election Commission and Income Tax authorities account for and take charge of the bundles of cash. Officials of the National Highways Authorities of India are also involved in the cash seizures.
