A drive through Umling La in the Ladakh region of India. The road reaches an elevation of approximately 19,024 feet (5,798 meters), making it one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The footage showcases the high-altitude desert landscape of eastern Ladakh, with barren mountain slopes and snow-covered Himalayan peaks. Umling La connects the remote villages of Chisumle and Demchok near the Indo-China border region. The road was constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) under Project Himank. The video documents the challenging terrain and engineering achievement of this remote mountain pass.
