It's snowing as we get atop Warila in Ladakh. Cold and sleety, and we have had to put chains on our car's tyres, to avoid them from slipping on the icy road surface. Yet, as we get atop the 17, 400 foot high Wari La Pass, there are no vehicles, no visitors, and all the wonder, beauty and isolation of a Himalayan pass, unlike Khardungla!
