Spiti in Himachal Pradesh, a favourite destination of adventure seekers is represented in picturesque out of this world photographs with blue skies and snow white clouds. This is the less seen Spiti filmed in late winter but it is still snowing here in this cold mountain valley. This small settlement and its landscape are covered in fresh falling snow. Houses and prayer flags stand out in the white landscape. Locals can be seen clearing snow or walking back home covered in heavy warm clothing. A small flock of Alpine Chough or Yellow-billed Chough sits at the edge of a wall with calls. Chicham and Kibber villages sit isolated, lonely and frozen!
