Ganesh Chaturthi nears celebrations and artists are making their own version of Ganesh in their imaginative likeness and the preference of the Hindu devotees who will buy these idols for the celebration. The festival commemorates the coming of Ganesh or Ganesha from Kailash. Ganesh is worshipped as the god of knowledge among Hindu devotees. The artist is filmed giving final touches to the crown and the ears of Ganesh. Notice the unusual but brightly painted geometry of Ganesha's ears. Orange and yellow ears with a touch of sparkling jewellery, this might be one of the unusual Ganeshas we see in the market.
