When you talk to any street food lover of Delhi, an area which gets repeatedly mentioned is Jama Masjid. A heaven for non-vegetarians, the place has more than a hundred street food stalls. It is of one of the oldest street food markets in New Delhi. During iftar, Old Delhi becomes a paradise for food connoisseurs. The lane opposite Jama Masjid - Bazar Matia Mahal - is filled with tempting aromas wafting from every second shop. Large banners outside the shops boast of chicken changezi, mutton korma, biryani, kebab, tikkas and ishtu, and Chicken tikka or Murgh tikka which is a chicken dish originating in South Asia where it remains popular in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.
