Imagine seeing a wild antelope in the middle of Delhi city! That is exactly what you will see here, that too in a public park! Nilgai is Asia's largest antelope and endemic to India. They are also known as the Bluebuck because of the bluish coat in adult males. They are large antelopes and hunted for their meat. In some rural areas where Nilgai is found in abundance, the animal is considered to be a pest as they destroy crops. This solo female Nilgai has been filmed in Nehru Park, New Delhi.
