Water goes waste in the New Delhi summer. As houses go dry, this leaking garden hose pipe spurts precious water onto the dry ground, as the result of a negligent park management system... The authorities really don't seem to care. Water will be the prime cause for conflict in India years from now, and some day we'll regret the poor way in which we treated this prime resource of ours, here in India! Nehru Park, Delhi, is large park situated in the Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave of New Delhi. Named after India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the park is spread over an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2), close to the heart of the city, and was established in 1969.
