Aerially follow an autumn trekking path over the high meadows of the Garhwal Himalaya over the grasslands and brown-green-yellow buggyals as they turn to winter, with the mists hovering over the ridges and lovely clear weather all around. The forests give way to the meadows as the forest line comes to an end in this video. The path leads to the Skeleton Lake of Roopkund, and one can see Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks in the background. A shepherd's abandoned campsite is ringed with stones, to keep in the sheep at night. A huge flock of sheep are seen as white dots on the green Ali and Bedni buggyal meadowscape. Cows wait around a small dirty water hole along the trekking path. An ancient tiny stone temple stands for the devout... This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive
