The Uttar Pradesh Police conducts a lathi charge to chase off the protesting rabble. They run through the streets, chased by the cops. Rare footage of a police - Babri Masjid projector confrontation never seen before. A few of the protesters gather their wits and start to throw stones at the police. They start gaining on the cops and return to the gully from which they were just chased away. Strength in numbers as they gain on the few and far between policemen on the scene. They are aided by protestors on building tops as well. Total chaos and mayhem on the streets of Ayodhya! A man is tended to, as he has received a stone injury on his forehead. Tear gas shells are fired by the police, thus dispersing the rioters and crowds. Milling hordes are held off by police at a premises gate in Ayo
