It's pandemonium on the streets of Ayodhya in December of 1992 when the Babri Masjid which is a bone of contention between Hindus and Muslims was razed down by Hindu fundamentalist Kar Sevaks. Police chase demonstrators armed with batons or lathis. Thousands are seen on the streets while police are filmed chasing them away. Media professionals at that time are seen running along with the police as the action of using batons on the demonstrators unfold. The communal tension in the city of Ayodhya and many other locations in India and even abroad caused thousands of loss of lives.
