Chapchar Kut is the largest annual spring festival of the Mizo community and is celebrated after the completion of jhum cultivation. The decorated outdoor stage is surrounded by a large audience, with many attendees dressed in traditional Mizo attire.Live musical performance and the festive atmosphere of one of Mizoram's major cultural celebrations. The Chapchar Kut celebration happens primarily to mark the transition between hard agricultural labor and the spring sowing season.
