Mizo games and cultural activities during the Chapchar Kut festival in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. Chapchar Kut is the principal spring festival of the Mizo people, celebrated annually in March after the completion of forest clearing for jhum cultivation. At Lammual (Assam Rifles Ground), a traditional venue for the state's main celebrations, where participants of different age groups gather in colourful Mizo attire, including the handwoven Puan. Young participants taking part in indigenous Mizo games, including youth versions of Insuknawr (rod pushing), along with other community activities that demonstrate strength, balance, and teamwork.
