During monsoon, the dense forests of Landour and Mussoorie receive heavy rainfall, almost every single day of the season. The forest is a huge reservoir of groundwater as it has an abundance of Oak trees that act as water reservoirs and during no rain season they release water stored in them back to the ground. In this video, you can see the droplets hanging on tree branches and leaves. While it's raining heavily, the video is in slow motion and one can easily catch the droplets splitting.
