The Border Security Force (BSF) Camel Contingent takes part in India's Republic Day Parade in New Delhi in 2022. BSF personnel ride richly decorated camels in synchronized ceremonial formation, wearing traditional uniforms with ornate pagris and colorful sashes. The camels are adorned with decorative saddle cloths, pom-poms, tassels, bells, and other traditional elements. Large spectator stands filled with crowds can be seen along the parade route, while elaborate decorations and Indian national flags form part of the ceremonial setting. The BSF Camel Contingent remains a distinctive feature of India's Republic Day celebrations.
