Aerial journey over Ghazipur town in Uttar Pradesh. Fly over the world's largest Opium factory in Ghazipur. The factory was initially run by the East India Company and was used by the British during the First and Second Opium Wars with China. The Abdul Hamid bridge can be seen in the background of this video. The factory covers about 43 acres and much of its architecture is in red brick. One can see the temple to Baba Shyam and a Mazar, both said to predate the factory. The Ghazipur opium factory is situated on the banks of river Ganga. The factory was founded in 1820 by the British had been trading Ghazipur opium before that.
