Brick kiln workers at a brick manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh. The workers use wheel barrows to move bricks that have come out of the foundry with the chimney. They organize the brown baked bricks into neat and organized rows. The canal next door provides the brick operation with lots of water, and the soil must be suitably clayey for bricks to be made out of. The brick factory is surrounded by green fields of young wheat in the early winter season. One of India's finest expressways passes by, and the poplar trees have turned autumn yellow in a nice contrast to the green fields.
