Breathtaking high-altitude landscape of Niti Village, one of the last inhabited Indian villages located near the Indo-Tibetan border in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. Situated at an elevation of around 3,600 meters, the remote Himalayan settlement is surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, sparse vegetation, and distant snow-covered peaks. Clusters of colorful homes with blue, green, and pink roofs stand against the dramatic mountain backdrop, reflecting the unique architecture of isolated Himalayan communities. Traditional stone walls, unpaved roads, and simple village infrastructure including the Gram Sabha Niti signboard and metal entry structure highlight the rustic lifestyle and enduring cultural identity of this border village.
