A Delhi-ite pulls up his trouser legs and places his bike helmet on the ground, in order to walk in knee-deep rain water on a side road near the Ring Road, in Delhi's monsoon flooding. Grossly delayed the monsoon has been this year in 2021, but it has not fallen short during the heavier showers. A cyclist negotiates a flooded road, splashing his way through. Due to poor NDMC draining and sewer cleaning work, drains have back-flowed and caused a lot of additional flooding problems. Even Chandigarh registered number Audi sedan splashes its way through, its LED lights automatically turning on. A Hyundia Uber taxi goes past as does a Ford Fiesta.
