A delicate dragonfly (Orthetrum pruinosum), native to Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, China, and Southeast Asia, hovers gracefully around a thin tree branch. This striking species, also known as the Crimson-tailed Marsh Hawk, is often found near ponds, lakes, and slow-moving streams. Captured with a shallow depth of field, the soft, blurred background emphasizes her translucent wings and slender body. She lands lightly on the branch, folding her wings close, her tiny legs gripping gently, and antennae twitching as she senses the surrounding air.
