Hindustan Ambassador cars, Maruti 800's and Mahindra Jeeps ply the roads of Kolkata in the 1990's, as people walk under umbrellas and try to duck the monsoon rain in West Bengal's capital city around 25 years ago - archival footage from the great city of the east. A book-seller still manages to do business despite the baarish. The Bengalis have an abiding love for books and the written word.
