Janki Chatti in Uttarakhand serves as a major base for pilgrims travelling to Yamunotri. During the yatra, devotees cross a green iron truss bridge over a mountain river gorge. Police personnel stand near the bridge holding batons to manage the movement of the crowd. A narrow suspension footbridge runs parallel to the main bridge, while large groups of pilgrims gather along the riverbanks and approach pathways.
