The Yamunotri Doli Yatra takes place in Kharsali village, Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, during the pilgrimage season. Devotees carry a decorated ceremonial palanquin adorned with red and orange fabrics and traditional umbrellas as the procession moves through the village. A large gathering of pilgrims and local residents accompanies the doli along the narrow mountain pathways. Security personnel in camouflage uniforms and a marching band are also visible among the participants. Traditional village buildings and the surrounding Himalayan terrain form the backdrop. The video captures the religious procession, the ceremonial palanquins and the participation of devotees in this regional pilgrimage tradition.
