The retrospective section at IFFI 2000 also began today with the inauguration at the Siri Fort Complex. The welcome address by the director of the festival was followed by an address by the chief guest of the festival who paid his own tribute to the director of the opening film of the section Abbas Kiarostami from Iran and then it was time to present filmmaker himself.
