The European Union Film Festival, 2000 was organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals at the Sirifort Auditorium of Delhi. This film festival brought 14 movies to showcase to the Indian cinema lovers. Sushma Swaraj says "The Directorate of Film Festivals organised this festival so that the relations between the two countries strengthen and we learn about their culture as they learn from ours."
