Black-naped Ibis or Indian Black Ibis filmed in Delhi public park

Looks like we can have a mini birding paradise every day in the Parks of New Delhi. We filmed this duo of Black-naped Ibis or Indian Black Ibis in a park in New Delhi. They seem to be used to having humans around as they feed and probe in the soft ground created by the leaking water pie of the park. Notice the fervent probing of the ground with their long curved beaks. A medium-sized ibis with a dark body, often showing a bluish-green sheen. The crown and nape are covered in bright red warts. A white patch is usually visible near the shoulder of the wing. The bill is long and downcurved. This species can be confused with the similar-looking Glossy Ibis, but Glossy Ibis is smaller and lacks the red warts and white shoulder patch.
