Traffic passing through South Extension, Delhi South Extension is a neighborhood of South Delhi, India. Situated on Ring Road, Delhi, just east of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. It is divided into two parts - South Extension I and South Extension II . This is one of the posh market places in Delhi, promising international shopping experience. It is a good place for tourists to see locals going about their daily activities. While the market remains closed on Mondays, it is busiest on Sundays. A Delhi Metro station is also planned in South Extension as part of Metro's Phase III extension. The market is quite famous for high priced designer stuff and branded clothes.
