Gondi tribal people live a very simple life and are mainly found in the central part of India such as Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In Madhya pradesh they are found in Narna village, located in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of 174 villages in Paraswada Block along with villages like Jhulup and Sarekha. Narna is well known for its mud houses that are made by people of Gondi or Gond tribe. Gondi tribe or Gond tribe are one of the main tribes of Madhya Pradesh and are found in the Narna village that lies on the fringes of Kanha forest. Gond people are a Dravidian people in central India, spread over the states of Madhya Pradesh, eastern Maharashtra (Vidarbha), Chhattisgarh, northern Andhra Pradesh (Telangana), and Western Odisha (Majhi or Gan community).
