The cartographers said there was no peak where Hari Dang saw and climbed around Jaonli, until his Doon School group actually climbed it, in the 1960's, for the first time! Nag Tibba can also be seen from Jabbarkhet, covered as it is with winter snow. The peaks of Himachal, and the western Garhwal range west of Banderpunch can be seen from our wildlife sanctuary in Garhwal. See Mt. Jaonli peak as seen from wildfilmsindia sanctuary at Jabbarkhet in Uttarakhand. We pan across the Gangotri wall of peaks, and come to Jaonli which towers over the deodar or Himalayan Cedar trees.
