DCP Sanjay Beniwal says that most of the fatal death is due to over speeding of the vehicles. With the invention of traffic interceptor in Delhi it is helping to curb over speeding and drunken driving. Traffic police officials said apart from CCTV cameras to record over speeding, the interceptor vehicle has breath analyser which would help check drunken driving. They added that a computer for recording crime details. Traffic interceptor is equipped with a speed laser camera, TIV’s focuses on the vehicle that’s over speeding, zooms into the vehicle and gets the accurate speed.
