With a surge in the number of vehicles in Delhi over the past few years, Old Delhi faces a heavy traffic jam. Old delhi is one of the most over crowded area in the state capital Delhi. Chandni Chowk originally meaning "moonlight square" or "moonlight market", is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, now in central north Delhi, India. Built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan, and designed by his daughter Jahan Ara, the market was once divided by canals (now closed) to reflect moonlight, and it remains one of India's largest wholesale markets.
