A traditional rural brewing setup used for preparing Mahua liquor, a locally produced fermented drink made from Mahua flowers and widely associated with tribal communities across central and western India. A large black clay pot is placed over a wood-fired chulha, where the brewing and distillation process takes place using age-old methods passed down through generations. The riverside setting, rocky terrain, and basic equipment reflect the simplicity of traditional village life. Nearby containers used for water storage and brewing, along with villagers tending the fire, highlight the community-based nature of this indigenous practice.
