A male and female mating pair of Kaleej Pheasants hang out in our rich habitat of a forest-field interface around Mussoorie in the western Himalaya. The male pecks seeds from the ground, chiefly of grasses. He also lifts his wings and does a little display. The female is brown barred and has a red lappet around its eyes.
