These Rain Basera are established by the DUSIB (Delhi Urban Shelter improvement board). The department has established 198-night shelters which are being operated by various NGOs. These provide durries, blankets, covered and enclosed structure, water, toilets and electricity in all night shelters. The man who is giving the interview his name is Mahesh Kumar, he came here for his brother's treatment and he found a Rain Basera near AIIMS Hospital and then he got a place to sleep. he is saying that the quality of things are very nice and cleanliness is maintained very well. He got food from outside, sometimes he buys the food and sometimes he got food from the NGOs food relief foundation. People are staying here for a very long time.
