Angling for trout in the Indian Himalayan state of Kashmir, with Vijay Soni, India's expert angler and trout conservationist, as he fishes with a rod and reel in the finest streams around Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Khilanmarg. Angling is a type of fishing using fish hooks attached to a fishing line and the line is attached to a fishing rod. Fishing rods are further fitted with a fishing reel that functions as a mechanism for storing, retrieving and paying out the line. Angling has become a part of recreational family outings and a hobby at the same time. Fishing in the Himalayas and Angling could become a very enjoyable sport if you've got plenty of time in hand and loads of patience.
