Classical singer and Indian playback singer Kavita Krishnamurty talks about music, singing, her struggles, winning three Filmfare awards and the people who have inspired her and her singing. She talks about wanting to sing for films, the songs she had done for in films, singing with the likes of Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar. Kavita Krishnamurthy: "Singing for films is a technical skill. I would say that because it's just not enough just having a basic of grounding in classical music. I would say that's very important because that gives you the base to work on.
