Tragically, this sub-adult male Leopard became road kill on the Faridabad road, near Chhatarpur in New Delhi yesterday. A truck was the culprit, it seems. The leopard was trying to cross from the Mangar forest and come towards Fatehpur Beri - Asola and Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary when this happened. The big city and its traffic took a heavy toll on the very modest big cat population of Delhi...
