A Karonda plant (Carissa carandas) is seen thriving at Wilderness Orchard, displaying dense green foliage and woody stems armed with sharp thorns. The tree is laden with clusters of small, oval-shaped fruits in different stages of ripeness. Unripe fruits appear green, while others transition through pinkish-red shades to deep purple or nearly black when fully mature. This mix of colours creates a vibrant and visually rich scene.
