Backpackers' eco-village provides clean toilet and comfortable bed, with a centre for meeting and knowing fellow travellers, some pet animals, with an open kitchen for the guests to see their meal being cooked by the local sundarban women. They have 20 mud cottages, a community centre, a farmhouse, few ponds and vast land for paddy field and vegetable farming. The best part is that they used all local materials and local labours to create our eco-village.
