At 4120 metres above sea level, the Nagula lake is one of the few high altitude Himalayan lakes to be connected by a motorable road. Located in a remote corner of the state of Arunachal Pradesh, bordering China, the Nagula lake freezes during the chilly winters around December and remains frozen till May.
