Military marching bands perform in formation during a Republic Day parade rehearsal on Kartavya Path, formerly Rajpath, in New Delhi. One band wears red ceremonial tunics with gold detailing and traditional turbans while playing brass and percussion instruments, including sousaphones, trumpets, trombones and drums. Another marching band is dressed in dark uniforms with white trousers, belts and service caps as it moves along the parade route. A military veterans-themed tableau featuring the words “FORCE BEHIND THE FORCE” is also seen among the parade displays, with figures and mechanical elements representing military support and technical services. Large spectator stands filled with people are visible in the background as personnel and participants take part in the rehearsal.
